Dial M For Motherboard
Episode 106 — Released Nov 6 2020
You are cordially invited to a murder!
The Delete Lover’s Shrine was a fan community for the PBS cartoon Cyberchase. Designed to teach kids about math, problem solving, and probably computers, Cyberchase featured three kids who would wander through “cyberspace” and foil the plans of The Hacker and his robot underlings Buzz and Delete. Unfortunately, the Delete Lover’s Shrine is now dead, and all its gory details are strewn about the site, telling a tale of woe and chaos with each passing post.
But never fear! The Extra Credit team of investigators is on the case! We will rummage through forum posts, scrutinize fanfic, and otherwise expose ourselves to the debauchery exhibited by this web community of girls, women aged 16 to 40(?), and one naive, fetishized gay young man. Where will the trail of evidence lead us?
This week, Extra Credit keeps track of the shots they heard. It was one plus two plus two plus one. Wait, no… It was one plus two plusĀ one plus one… Ah crap…
